About Me.......

My name is Annie, along with my husband and our three girls we live on an acre. It has become my goal to see how much we can produce on our small farm. When I say goal I mean obsession.

When I tell people that along with our many fruit trees and budding veggie garden that we also raise sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, trout, perch, a couple of pet rabbits and newly added Guinea fowl and the occasional pig the response is varied from disbelief, boredom, feigned interest and avid curiosity to the often asked where is your blog. I have chosen to listen to the later and take it as sound advice...

We have had many failures along the way, it has been these failures that have driven me to learn more about farming. I have realised very recently that if it had of been easy I wouldn't have learnt so much nor would i have appreciated the delicate web of nature nor it's fascinating balance.

My hope is to recount some of what we do and how we do it. It may not work for you, it may not even work for us. But, it's worth a try.
